WEB DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE:

Senior Web Developer: Cultural Homestay International, San Anselmo, California (1996 - March, 2005)
- Created and maintained a 1,000+ page corporate web site with both static and database-backed web pages and updated site content on a daily basis.
- Created databases in Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL Server to supply data for web pages using VBScript and Active Server Pages.
- Created a corporate web site on location in Japan for a CHI subsidiary.

Freelance Web Site Designer and Administrator (1996 - present)
- Design, build and program web sites ranging from simple 3 page HTML-only sites to 1,000+ page complex, database-backed, corporate web sites.
- Provide technical support for domain name registration, setup of hosting accounts and configuration of web server space.

WEB DEVELOPMENT SKILLS:

All web page work is hand-coded, although I am conversant with Dreamweaver, and thoroughly checked before release.

Experienced in:
- Domain name registration and transfer, plus web hosting account setup and maintenance.
- Content creation and editing.
- Graphic design, image creation, editing, and optimization using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Image Ready with ULead and Extensis plug-ins.
- Design, setup, modification and operation of shopping-cart eCommerce sites using custom built backends for the site owner.
- Setup, modification and operation of CGI and VBScript based forums and bulletin boards
- Database driven web site design and coding, installation and administration using Microsoft SQL Servers (7.0 and 2000), Windows Internet Information Service (IIS) and also Microsoft Access databases.
